Name: Ironhide
Age: Older than the human race has been in existence. Nobody really knows Ironhide’s exact age.
Gender: Ironhide doesn’t really have a biological sex since he's a giant alien robot from the planet Cybertron, but he has identified himself as male ever since he came in contact with human culture.
Appearance:
Ironhide, in short, is built for war. Compared to the average human, Ironhide is pretty slagging huge. Twenty-six feet tall, in act. However, for a Transformer/Cybertronian, Ironhide's race, twenty-something feet seems to be a rough average height. Ironhide is protected by black battle worn armor, scarred from numerous battles. Two huge cannons are stored in his arms and it's rumored other weaponry of mass destruction can be found in his mechanical frame. On Earth, Ironhide has adopted the GMC Topkick pickup truck as his alternate/vehicle mode.

Personality:
Eons of endless battle has hardened Ironhide and granted him an extensive knowledge of war. During the rare breaks in fighting, Ironhide ends up restless and on edge, always wanting to deliver the first strike against his enemies. This mech would rather in the battlefield, shredding his enemies to pieces with his guns.
Ironhide is not the most patient of warriors and has been known to rush into battle or point his guns at some minor irritant, even going as far to threaten to blast Sam Witwicky's tiny Chihuahua after the dog pissed on his metallic foot. His view of humanity isn’t that positive either, Ironhide views them as a violent primitive race. But witnessing humans battle in Mission City against the Decepticons has upped his opinion of humans considerably, going as far to take Captain Lennox home.
Despite not always seeing optic to optic to with his leader, Optimus Prime, Ironhide is a loyal soldier and fight to the death for his friends and allies.
And in the rare times, he relaxes; Ironhide can usually be found cleaning or showing off his cannons. He's quite proud of them you see.
Preference:
Er, um, Technosexual, most of the time. C'mon, Ironhide's, a giant alien robot. Giant alien robots tend to hook up with other giant alien robots. But if any human or other sentient creature, somehow earns Ironhide's respect and worm their way into a soft spot hidden under his rough armored exterior, something might happen. Ironhide is usually more impressed by actions and personality, not looks. But if you have big freaking guns, he'll be impressed by that.

History:
Ironhide is one of the oldest Autobots; created shortly after the AllSpark, the source of all Transformer life, landed on Cybertron, and befriended Optimus Prime in his youth. Even when Cybertron enjoyed peace under the reign of Optimus Prime and Lord High Protector, Megatron, Ironhide protected the Allspark with his life.
However, the peace did not last. Megatron became corrupt and waged civil war for control of the Allspark with his armies, the Decepticons, by his side. So when Optimus Prime started recruiting for the Autobot side, Ironhide became one of the first to join and still serves as a Autobot Weapons Specialist to Prime.
The civil war dragged on for millennia, neither side yielding to the other. Finally, a desperate plan was cooked up to keep the Allspark out of Decepticon hands. During the Battle of Tyger Pax, the AllSpark was launched into space. Ever since that fateful day, both sides have been searching for the AllSpark in the endless cosmos.
Fast-forward to the early 21st century, the Autobot Scout, Bumblebee sent a signal to the other Autobots, alerting them to the AllSpark's location on Earth. Ironhide crash landed into a pool and scanned the pickup truck, adapting the truck's form in order to disguise himself on Earth.
The final battle took place at Mission City. There, Ironhide and Ratchet, had to protect Sam Witwicky while Sam carried the AllSpark to safety. During the battle, Ironhide became impressed as he witnessed the bravery of humans as they helped the Autobots fight the Decepticons. Most notably, one Captain Lennox after he took out the Decepticon Blackout. Ironhide took Lennox home after the battle. On the way back to Tranquility in order to meet up with the other Autobots, Ironhide somehow ended up in Renatus.

First Person:
Never been a fan of cities. Too many memories of home. Too many places for enemies to hide and sneak around. And too many chances for a fragging Decepticon punk to blast you in the skidplate.
Third Person: (200 words minimum)
It was a normal day in Renatus. For now. In the labs, scientists skittered about, taking notes and making sure everything was running smoothly. The machine hummed and then roared as it stole another person from the past.
But the scientists did not expect this. In front of the machine, was what seemed to be a black primitive vehicle from the early 21st century that ran on fossil fuels. The scientists muttered to themselves that it was most likely a malfunction, only to go quiet.
The shush filled the room as the machine began to transform. Gears and hydraulics screeched as metallic panels shifted and slided into place. In the vehicle’s place, soon stood a twenty-six foot mech. Energy crackled among it’s arm cannons as the mech’s blue optics flashed and glared down at the shocked scientists. To their shock, it spoke.
“Where the slagging hell am I?!”
